I love to hear from former students! And the only thing that is better then hearing from former students is hearing from former students who are out there meeting other former students in the wild and wicked world of theatre. I asked for permission to showcase this recent letter from one of my students Katheryn Kuhn who years ago played Kimberly Bergalis in my production of Patient Zero.

I shot a scene in a feature film with Patrick Heusinger last night AND HE RECOGNIZED ME 😱😱
He was like… “Okay… How do I know you?” and I was so excited and told him we’ve met several times through Mr. Higgins and then we had this loooong talk where I told him I’ve followed his career since he came to DA and told us how he got spamalot. HE IS THE NICEST PERSON…. and then all of a sudden I’m on a film set having to crazy dance (in my signature style) all over/around him for a night club scene. It was the first time I could remember how cool the world can be this week. It was awesome. You’re awesome. Art is awesome.
